• Give parents clear access to curriculum, learning materials, school performance, and education spending.

BACK TO THE BASICS
• Restore reading, writing, arithmetic, science, civics, and financial literacy as classroom priorities.
• Teach children how to think—not what to think. Schools should educate, not indoctrinate.
• Give struggling readers early support and an individual plan before they fall further behind.
• Set honest academic standards and report results without lowering the bar to hide failure.

ACCOUNTABILITY FOR EVERY SCHOOL
• Every school receiving public dollars must meet transparent standards for safety, finances, and student achievement.
• Get unnecessary bureaucracy out of the classroom so teachers have more time to teach.

• Government does not create lasting private-sector jobs. Entrepreneurs, small businesses, farms, manufacturers, and employers do.
• Wisconsin government should serve as a partner—not a roadblock—to the people who invest, take risks, and create opportunity.
• Move government out of the way by cutting unnecessary regulations, delays, fees, and paperwork that make it harder to start or grow a business.
• Keep necessary rules clear, fair, and predictable so every business can compete without political favoritism.

SAFE COMMUNITIES WITH ACCOUNTABILITY
• Support law enforcement, first responders, prosecutors, and community partners working together to protect every Wisconsin neighborhood.
• Focus resources on violent offenders, repeat offenders, drug trafficking, human trafficking, and reckless behavior that threatens innocent people.
• Demand transparency, constitutional policing, and equal justice under the law.
• Public safety must protect both our communities and the rights of the people.

A BETTER RE-ENTRY PROGRAM
• Begin re-entry planning before release with identification, job readiness, housing support, transportation, and connections to treatment.
• Partner with employers, skilled trades, technical colleges, churches, and community organizations to provide real second chances.
• Expand mental health and substance-use treatment while requiring personal responsibility and compliance with the law.
• Measure success by employment, stable housing, family reunification, and lower repeat crime—making communities safer and respecting victims.

YOUTH INTERVENTION BEFORE INCARCERATION
• Reach young people early through mentoring, after-school programs, youth employment, sports, counseling, and skilled-trades exposure.
• Bring parents, schools, law enforcement, churches, and community leaders together before a child enters the justice system.
• Create clear pathways from the classroom to a career so young people can see a future worth building.
• Hold youth accountable while giving them the guidance and support needed to change direction.

PROTECT FAMILIES FROM DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
• Strengthen shelters, crisis services, legal assistance, counseling, and safe housing for survivors and their children.
• Enforce protective orders, improve coordinated responses, and hold abusers accountable.
• Expand prevention education and early intervention so warning signs are recognized before violence escalates.
• Make sure survivors in rural and urban communities can quickly reach help, safety, and long-term support.

GUN SAFETY, THE SECOND AMENDMENT & YOUR RIGHTS
• David King is a Second Amendment man who supports the right of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms.
• Promote responsible ownership, voluntary safety education, secure storage, and firearms training without punishing responsible gun owners.
• Target violent criminals and illegal gun trafficking—not Wisconsin citizens who follow the law.
