A LETTER TO THE PEOPLE OF WISCONSIN Dear People of Wisconsin, For too long, political parties have told us what to fear, whom to blame, and how we should vote. While politicians fight for power, Wisconsin families are working harder just to afford groceries, housing, healthcare, child care, utilities, and property taxes. Wisconsin deserves a third choice—leadership that answers to the people, not political parties, lobbyists, or special interests. As your Independent Write-In Candidate for Governor, I will put affordability and accountability first. Before politicians ask taxpayers for another dollar, every government department must account for how it spends the money it already receives. I will fight for property-tax relief and work to make Wisconsin a place where families can afford to live, work, raise their children, and retire. I believe parents—not government—have the right to choose how and where their children are educated. Education dollars should follow the child. Whether parents choose a public, private, charter, faith-based, virtual, or home-school education, every child deserves the opportunity to succeed. We must return to reading, writing, mathematics, science, civics, financial literacy, and skilled trades—not political indoctrination. Wisconsin families also deserve real healthcare freedom. Patients should be able to choose traditional medicine, holistic care, preventive care, chiropractic care, or a responsible combination of services. Our goal must be healthier families, affordable care, greater transparency, and better access in rural and underserved communities. Government does not create lasting private-sector jobs—businesses do. We must remove unnecessary regulations, delays, fees, and paperwork so Wisconsin businesses can grow. At the same time, our schools, technical colleges, unions, churches, and community organizations must prepare people with the skills needed to fill the jobs employers are creating. Safer communities require accountability, strong law enforcement, early youth intervention, protection for domestic-violence survivors, and a better re-entry system. Returning citizens who are willing to work and obey the law need pathways to employment, housing, treatment, and a genuine second chance. We must intervene in young people’s lives before they enter the criminal-justice system. I am also a Second Amendment man. I support responsible gun ownership, voluntary safety education, secure storage, and firearms training. We should target violent criminals and illegal gun trafficking—not law-abiding Wisconsin citizens. As Governor, I will not allow anyone to tread on your constitutional rights. Wisconsin does not belong to Democrats or Republicans. It belongs to farmers, workers, parents, teachers, nurses, police officers, veterans, small-business owners, faith communities, and every family trying to build a better future. This campaign is about more than winning an election. It is about returning power to the people, choosing courage over comfort, and building real solutions together. You have a third choice. It is our time, Wisconsin. David D.
